I’ve gone through lot of reviews before I booked this hotel. Everyone praised mazin and his hospitality. I dint get to meet him because he was out of town during my stay. I would have appreciated if mazin would have mentioned that, and given me a point of contact. The stay itself was pleasant but I have faced a lot of issues. AC wasn’t working properly (it keeps showing different errors but then again starts to work after I give it a break, not that I was using it constantly). Only 2 guys were handling the whole property, though they did a good job. Issue was, there is no 24 hour in-house help. One night the power went out (only for this hotel), that was very uncomfortable given I had been very tired doing the water activates all day. I tried calling the owner but he dint respond. They fixed it at 6am. I think I would have really appreciated a quick response during that time. This is why in-house help is a must (for the price they are charging the room per night they should). Breakfast options were good. It’s just, a lot of flies were flocking around while eating. So would appreciate if you can do something to protect the food while eating. Now let me talk about the good parts. The hotel is right infront of the beach. I really liked their aesthetic. I really liked my room. The bed was comfortable. There is 24 hours hot shower, open shower was great. They helped me get some great pictures in the water using their go pro, which is awesome thank you. One day they took all the guests for a free snorkel near the bikini beach, that was great. I really enjoyed the sand bank trips. They have lot of exciting activities to do. I wish I did more but dint have time. I truly enjoyed the experiences and the island itself. Mahibadoo is very clean, beautiful and has some great restaurants options.

We stayed two nights at noovilo guesthouse and had an amazing time. The rooms are very clean with a lot of attention to details and the outdoor bathroom is very unique. Mazin and his crew are amazing hosts and made our stay very personal and special. They did a lot of activities with us while always adapting to our needs, showed us around their island and its most beautiful places and answered us all questions we had around the Maldives. It’s the perfect place to experience the authentic Maldives and local culture besides all the resorts. Our personal highlight was the overnight stay on the deserted island, which was just magical. Unfortunately two nights were way too short, so we hope to come back one day.

Cosy guesthouse on a local island about 1.5hr by speedboat from main island. Mazin and team were nothing but amazing, did their best to accommodate to our short time here (2 nights) by customizing our experience! We managed to squeeze in snorkeling, picnic on a beach, whale shark watching and turtles. My husband was slightly uncomfortable in water but they were very patient and made sure he still got to see all the underwater life at his own pace, comfortably. The team also spearfished a few large local fish which we bbq on the picnic island as well as dinner. Picnic is really a must do, but will recommend doing the overnight so that you can enjoy the experience without so much of the hot sun. The accommodation is nicely furbished and cosy. Rooms were all adequately furnished with their own outdoor shower area. AC was nice and strong which helped with the crazy heat. There's cosy seatings at the reception and rooftop which allows for chilling around or sunbathing without leaving the house. We were lucky to have had the entire house to ourselves during our stay. We opted for half board during our stay but this is not necessary. There are local restaurants just 5min walk from the location. Mazin will be happy to recommend. There's also a beach right outside the house. A nice sunbathing area where you can see the sun set just 5mins walk away. Lots of chairs to chill around too. Cannot recommend this enough. This is especially good for large groups I feel. Mazin and team are very helpful and can help with planning a trip to accomodate everyone's needs.
