Amazi Homestay-Dumaguete

The place was really neat, and we felt good being there. It's in a great spot where it's easy to get to everything. The staff were really nice and helpful during our stay. They made sure everything was good and were friendly the whole time.

Pros: Close to Robinson's mall Very clean Friendly staff Great air-conditioning Fantastic baked goods cafe in the hotel next door. Cons: Very noisy. You will hear both road noise from the main road as well as noise inside as the walls are very thin and there is no sound insulation at all. You will hear everyone around you at all times. No elevator meaning you're walking up to the third floor each time you want to come or go. Single beds were uncomfortable and did not feel sturdy. Ended up putting mattresses on floor and pushing together for a couple. Very low water pressure in the bathroom. Made washing properly difficult. No shower containment so when you take a shower you end up flooding the bathroom.

Only 1 shampoo but room is for two

We had such a comfortable stay in Amazi. The staff was attentive and the room was clean. The bathroom was also spacious, unlike similarly-priced places that have cramped bathrooms. We stayed for 8 nights. Will definitely book here again. Thank you!
