Natura Vista Plantation stay

With only 4 cottages , this stay is extremely exclusive. 11kms before Madikeri , just off the highway ,this haven is for those who need a break from all urban tropes! There are 2 couple cottages and the other 2 are for families or large groups. There is a small roof top dining area where fresh breakfast, lunch or dinner is served. The cottage is very thoughtfully designed with a living room attached bedroom and bathroom. A balcony and a portico gives a very homely feel! Surrounded by only coffee plantations and local flora, one can only seek peace here! the house-keeping staff is responsive and attentive. The owner Mr. Nikesh and his wife are very friendly and give good tips with regards to sightseeing. The lady was gracious enough to show us their estate and give us information about coffee plants and other vegetation. the plantation walk was delightful. Apart from this, there isn't much to do in the property which is quite small. There is a TV with satellite connection, a mini bar, water purifier, kettle, water heater in the bathroom ,AC ,fan . The room is spacious with a queen bed, bed side table, coffee table, chairs, diwan , bean bag, wardrobe, outdoor seating etc. All in all, a lovely, peaceful stay if you are looking for tranquility! The weather was perfect in mid jan.- Neither too hot nor too cold! Haleri waterfalls in a pvt estate nearby was discovered thanks to Mr. Nikesh's suggestion. One can have the entire falls to oneself by paying a small amount to the owner of this estate. It was a mesmerizing moment. Overall, it was a memorable and tranquil retreat.

We had an amazing experience staying at the plantation. Not too far from the centre of Madikeri , a small hidden nature stay just to get you the relaxation that one needs. Joel, the staff assigned to us facilitated with all our requests and also gave us the tour of a hidden waterfall around 2kms from the stay ! The bfast was packed in a picnic 🧺 basket and was extremely tasty. Would truly recommend the place for couples as well as families and groups.

Planned the trip with great excitement looking at the home stay.The host is friendly and humble couple. The location is amidst plantation.Good property.But i will not recommend this stay . I have stayed in homestays before in several hill stations. But this stay was the most disappointing one Pros are location in plantation and the host. Cons: The helper or assistance at the homestay doesnt understand any language other than Hindi. So people who speaks tamil and english please dont opt this stay. House keeping is NIL and no response. frequent power cuts which we could accomodate to an extent.. The location doesn't have any close by eateries,tea shops nor the homestay supports any lunch . Pre estay instructions to the guests to be prepared of this situation..It was new to us..Coz homestays should have a inhouse cook and kitchen to help the guests. Overall it wasnt a good experience to us in terms of response given by helpers..The location is lovely and it would be great if the host could keep additional trained person for assistance who could respond better to the basic necessities of the guests. Lack of communication and clarity made us feel insecured .So i did not have a pleasant stay. The environment was not friendly.

We visited Coorg for a weekend getaway, mainly to relax and enjoy nature, and this place was absolutely worth it! Nestled amidst beautiful coffee plantations, the cottages are well maintained, clean, and equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The caretaker is doing a wonderful job—always available, helpful, and attentive. It was also a pleasure meeting the owner, Mr. Nikesh, who is a true gentleman and made us feel very welcome. The property is located just around 800 meters from the Kushalnagar–Madikeri highway. Although the approach road is quite dark at night, there's absolutely nothing to worry about—it felt safe and the property itself is well maintained. We had breakfast here on both mornings, and it was delicious. The food had a comforting, home-cooked taste, which we really appreciated. We were provided Jain food on request. Dinner is also available on request Overall, it was a peaceful and refreshing stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the midst of nature.
