Tiny Private City Rooms Haarlem

This was a fabulous place to stay. Cosy, simple and very local. You can hear the church bells and people in the streets, the supermarket is a free minutes walk. The space was small so there was some dancing around each other…it was great for 3 but you would not want more than 3 people. The stairs were very steep and curved potentially risky if you had toddler and hard to get a suitcase up but that is holland! A quaint beautiful place to stay

It is very good for a short stay, a bit pricey (if I do say) for what was provided but overall I would recommend as it was clean and comfortable

My family and I spent 5 nights at the Tiny Apartment in Haarlem and we all thought the location was excellent; transport, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. However, the whole time our stay in the room was marred by the terrible sewerage smell from the bathroom that lingered all week. I did see an earlier reviewer mention this so we possibly stayed in the same room. The second disappointment was how cold the room was. The heating wouldn't come on and the bedding consisted of only one thin duvet so it was very cold. The water was hot however and the shower was powerful. There were lights and charging points next to each bed but unfortunately only two of the charging points worked. Not the end of the world but frustrating when there are four of you with electronic devices. Another let down was there not being any cups for us to make a drink. We arrived late and would've loved a warm drink but there were no means to do so. Odd considering there was a kettle available. Surely cups and a few sachets of tea/coffee wouldn't be too difficult to provide. Similarly, the description stated toiletries would be available but this consisted of one already opened bottle of shower gel. No hand wash or shampoo and no bin in the bathroom which was awkward. Overall the bathroom was clean other than the bottom of the shower curtain which was stained. We really did not have a comfortable stay due to the cold and how thin the walls were; we heard every single doorstep, cough, phone call from the room above us. The location is fab and for one night it would be tolerable but I could not recommended it for longer.
