THE SINGKI HOME FAMILY

Kevin is the sweetest host and his place is a great spot to explore all toraja region. He has connection to rent a bike as well and makes very good coffee. It's a shared home so not a lot of privacy but great to meet fellow travellers and exchange tips or share a nice evening.

A lovely place overlooking the rice fields. I'll always be grateful to them. I was very unfortunate to fall seriously ill right before checking into this guesthouse, likely during the flight. I was so sick that I could barely walk, and to make matters worse, my girlfriend I checked in with, left me because of my illness. The family took care of me, offering me tea for free several times a day, which greatly helped with my severe cold. I truly appreciated their kindness, as they helped me recover while I lay there. Some might find the furniture a bit dated, but the main inconvenience is the path leading to their house. When it rains – and it often does – it turns into a muddy mess. They could consider paving the trail with stones to make it easier to walk, especially during wet weather. But despite this issue, I'm endlessly grateful to them for nursing me back to health with tea. Even after a long time has passed, I still fondly remember their hospitality and warmth. They are truly wonderful people.

Very peaceful place facing the rice fields and the mountain. Our host Kevin was really helpful and welcoming and our stay there was very cool. This is definitely a good spot to explore the Toraja country during the day and rest during the night. (Breakfast is really good too !) Highly recommend :)

I stayed for two nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The host was friendly and very helpful. I really enjoyed the coffee while looking out at the rice fields from the balcony. It was truly amazing...

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Emmanuel et son fils Melvin. Nous devions restés une nuit et nous sommes finalement restés 5 nuits. Le petit déjeuner est excellent ! Merci pour tout !
