We went to a many other resort in bintan, this is a new hotel so we think of trying out. But to our surprise, there is no free shuttle to lagoi plaza, every transport out of the resort need to pay for taxi. We reach the resort before 11am, we wanted to have early lunch, their food selection was limited before 12noon. We wanted to try the local food but there is no ala carte available until 12pm, end up we went to the recreaction area for ala carte western food, the food is ok but super ex. Our friend toilet was choked on one of the morning, waited a few hrs to get it done, we went for their international buffet for dinner, it was black out a few time and the place was full of smoke until we cannot enjoy the dinner, we ate halfway, we came out. For all this experience, there isnt any compensation for such a reputable hotel. We will not come again.

We had a 3d2n stay in this hotel. The room is well furnished and clean. We had a good time during these 3 days. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. As the hotel has some works still ongoing, the facilities are minimal. If you do not mind just having facilities like beach, swimming pool, cafe, 2 restaurants, retail shop, recreation village without spa and massage place, this place is sufficiently great! Breakfast is not too bad, can be better for some dishes. For lunch and dinner at Port 19, the portion is generous and their dishes exceeds expectations!

Staff are very friendly and professional. They remember our preferences and requests without the need for us to follow up every time. Kids club and activities are amazing. The daily chocolate hour is complimentary, which is a very nice gesture indeed. Lovely beach club within the resort. Since this is still a soft launch, some areas/facilities and its offering are still expanding and you can expect more to come. Will definitely recommend Mövenpick Resort & Spa to anyone!

We recently stayed at Mövenpick Bintan and had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is still relatively new and some renovation works were ongoing during our visit. However, this did not affect our stay at all. The property was comfortable, well-maintained, and the atmosphere remained relaxing throughout. One of the highlights was the exceptional hospitality from the staff. Everyone was warm, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile whenever we crossed paths, which made us feel very welcome. Although the spa has not officially opened yet, we appreciated that the hotel had set up temporary massage rooms so guests could still enjoy spa treatments. It was a thoughtful touch. The daily Chocolate Hour was fantastic and definitely a treat for both adults and children. My child especially loved the Recreation Village, which offered many activities (including sandpit and pool), keeping him entertained for hours. Dining was another standout. The food at Port 19 was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Japanese restaurant as well. While the Japanese restaurant is on the pricier side, the quality of the food and level of service more than justified the cost. Lastly, the room was extremely comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind after a day of activities. We would definitely return and look forward to seeing the resort once all facilities are fully operational.

Have the Sentosa resort kind of vibes space is extremely big and doesn’t feel crowded at all maybe also cause it’s still in the soft opening phase and not yet fully packed, food is average, comes with daily chocolate hour you can enjoy chocolate fondue and cakes, quality is average but interesting to participate at a hotel for the experience. The hotel room for us is just good, hanger height and placement all makes sense. Comes with blackout curtain and different type of pillow to choose from, we had a restful sleep. There are billiard tables ping pong table small free arcade at recreation village, nice private clean beach with clear water. Hope they can offer more authentic local foods and we will be back again
