Ok, I'm old, but this place was a little wacky. First, itt could really benefit from some better curb appeal. Upon locating the building (just off the main drag in Solvang), we wondered if we were in the right place, withh the drab paint and papered up windows. Looked abandoned. We pulled into the handy parking lot and attempeted to find an entry. Fortunately, Maria, one of the housekeepers, pointed us to a glass door with a small entry box. You call a number and they give you the code to enter. Once inside, (quite spacious and clean) it was another search for our uite. Again, fortunately, a housekeeper showed us the way. Next was getting in the door. The wackiest entry I've ever seen. You cover the pad with your palm, which activates it so you can ebetr your cose. Voila". Entre. The suite itself was also spacious and clean, came with plenty of storage, a Nespresso machine and a fridge. No cream for the coffee. Went searching in the common kitchen/honor bar. Again, the housekeeper Maria showed me where to find the cream. Next trick, the TV. Couldn't get it to function. Called the number for service and a repair man was quickly dispatched. He figured out the problem (cable had been lightly unplugged) and we were in business. The bed was comfy and the shower was spacious with good water pressure. So, all in, a great room at a great price for the area! Just a little wacky. And a big thanks to Maria who put the Visible into the Invisible service!

Others have mentioned the weird check-in. For this property, it might be easier just to book on their website. The third party website doesn't share personal contact info so they can't send you your check-in email. Maybe call the Winston in advance after booking to get your info correct. After booking everything was great. Marcy the on-site manager was very nice, the location is very central, parking is easy, and the room is beautiful. Mom has a scooter for mobility and we were able to use the elevator and get the scooter in our room no problem.

Great room, very well appointed. Wish I lived there part of the year!

丹麦小镇极具北欧风情，这也是装饰陈设北欧风格的酒店，房间超大。虽然是双床房但是备品都按四个人准备的，真想再住一晚，太舒服了。

Highly highly recommend staying at the Winston. Perfect location in downtown, walking distance to everything and beautiful rooms very well kept!
