Sawah Ijen

location and enviroment are great，close to ijen (maybe half an hour drive) fan only,but ist quit cool in fall at night. enjoy the paddy fields and the croaking of frogs in front of your house

L’endroit est exceptionnel, le lit est confortable et la vue incroyable. Seul bémol, peu d’eau chaude. Il est bien localisé pour aller au Kawa Ijen. Vous pouvez louer un scooter pour y aller sans guide, la route n’est pas dangereuse contrairement à ce que le staff nous a dit avant de venir.

We felt like joining a family, from our arrival until we left, everyone was friendly, helpful, giggly sometimes. We got contacts to two tour operators straight away as we haven’t organised our I-Jen trip yet. Then when we were back, we received a hearty breakfast and then went to bed. When we woke up, someone from the staff offered to take us to the local waterfalls (for free), just to keep us occupied. The bamboo huts are a great mix of local and modern style and when requested you are kitted out with mosquito net, extra blankets and fan as well. We had welcome fruits, access to drinking water, and we had hot water in the shower as well (though I try to spare water wherever I go, so it was a quick one). The rice field in front of the apartment is so picturesque, it’s a postcard location.

I like this hotel vibe, very close to nature. no ac but still cold. nice room aesthetics. Kind staff waited for us to come back from kawah ijen just to serve breakfast. you have to get through gravel road to get here though. but other than that 10/10 stay would repeat again.

Un posto bellissimo e dotato di ogni confort. Tutto perfetto: letto confortevole, camera spaziosa e arredata con gusto, staff sempre molto disponibile e una colazione super abbondante e all'orario flessibile. La vista dal bungalow è incredibile e i dintorni spettacolari. Lo consiglio vivamente!
