Hotel Aluxor SFO, Shuttle Service

Convenient hotel near SFO with free shuttle bus every hour. No breakfast, only hot drinks from 4am to 12pm at the lobby. Good enough for 1 night between 2 flights. Staff is not the most friendly you'll find but efficient.

Not plush, but clean and comfortable with friendly staff. No breakfast but there are a couple of places very close to hotel.

Great spot! This hotel may only be rated 2 stars, but that is because of lack of amenities, only. This hotel isn't trying to be a "lie by the pool" kind of hotel, either. It is near the airport and was perfect for our early a.m. departure. The room was clean, cozy, and reasonably priced. We felt relaxed and enjoyed our stay. (Awesome craft beer selection at the liquor store kitty corner from the hotel, too.)

We stayed for 2 nights at aluxor. Hotel shuttle was really handy and the driver was helpful. Check in staff was not friendly or approachable. Just asked for name, ID, handed over the room keys and pointed over to the lift.. no hello, no thank you for staying with us, no call if you need any help. Room was spacious and clean enough. Our main issue was the air con. It stunk. It stunk of mildew. We turned it off right away and as we were so tired from the flight we just went to bed without it. Pillows were like cushion sizes - matches some of their images. Hard to sleep on a pillow so small. House keeping did a good job. Easy parking was a bonus but please work on the maintenance of a/c and work on friendliness of staff.
