로흐터 란트호텔

A wonderful hotel with a great river and hills view from the room. It is quiet so that you can recharge your energy during the stays. Little interaction with the staffs except during check in and check out time, it is perfect if you would like to have some privacy. You can rent the bikes, but we just walk to the town, you can even take the bus. Everything you need is provided in the room. Breakfast is included in the room. Limited hotel owned parking space ~10, but there are plenty of paid parking.

First time visiting the Mosel region and it was hard to make a choice which village to choose. Ultimately, other reviews and an on paper good price / quality offer made us decide to stay at Rochter Landhotel. We made 100% the right choice. The welcome was warm and helpful, the rooms were nicely tastefully and airy with high ceilings and the public spaces were all clean, comfortable and welcoming decorated. The breakfast was for excellent considering the overall price paid. A good variety of fresh, tasty (and I assume local) produce and a breakfast room which feels welcoming with good light. From the hotel you can walk to Zeltingen where you find many restaurants, wine bars, etc for the late afternoon and evening. You can park next to and in front of the hotel. Small areas of improvement: (1) the fixed shower head is too low for taller people (you have to be < 190 cm) though you have a hand shower, but not ideal in the space available and (2) there is no lift (though we were kindly given a room at first floor which made it easier to carry the luggage to the rooms). Overall, excellent price / quality and a tasteful decorated hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff.
