The location is all the way on top of the city, far from everything so you almost have no choice but to eat only there if you're tired after hiking. The owner acts like a know it all and pretends to always be the good guy, that's how he gets your trust. While he has little smily assistant girl going around trying to scam you for anything possible. I paid over 12k for just 2 days. That included freezing temperature at night, power outages for half the time, toilets not flushing, water not working, one of the worst pizzas and spaghetti Bolognese I've ever tasted in my life. Wifi that hasn't worked for half the time. On top of all they had the nerve to charge me 1800 rupees because I asked to fill my little bottle with warm water so I can make my own tea couple of times. They had no problem trying to charge me for masala tea on a breakfast set that includes tea because they claim it only included black or green tea but never told me that when ordering. The owner refunded for that at least after I pointed out as if he's doing me charity. Please do yourself a favor and stay in Khumbu lodge, it is 10 times better in every category. If you do have the misfortune of staying in Panorama please make sure you ask the price on literally anything before ordering because if you don't they will make up whatever price they want... This is the only place where I got scammed on my entire EBC hike, even Gorokshep was 3 times cheaper. Owner should be ashamed of himself but I'm sure "shame" is a foreign concept to him.

The panorama lodge was the best place on our 12 day hike. The restaurant was the warmest and the staff was the friendliest. Hot shower, electric blankets, electric sockets, towels, soap and toilet paper all in the deluxe rooms.
