Check in was by a lady that was forced to be nice and provided me with no extra information since I was a single male. I went up to the room and got situated and then eventually at 10pm prepared for bed which included a shower. I entered the shower and within a minute of the water being on noticed that I was standing in gross shower water. I managed through it and showered then waited 10 minutes for the dirty water to drain and then rinsed my feet. The next day I reported it to the front desk attendant and she had the maintenance person addresss it when he came into work . I was meeting family for brunch and left and returned at 2pm. My very younge niece and nephew returned to the hotel room with me to pick up a few items before we would go shopping. My niece requested to use the bathroom and went in and within seconds screamed . I ran to see what was the matter and she said I needed to look into the toilet. Upon inspecting the toilet there was a massive amount of nasty gross hair in it and it was from the maintenance man clearing the drains. It astonished me how NO other person complained about the slow draining sink and tub. NO exaggeration there had to be 2 pounds of long hair in that toilet. Shame on Marriot for leaving the eyesore in the toilet. Shame on Marriot and housekeeping for not noticing and addressing the drain issue when they supposedly cleaned the tub and sink. On top of all I reported the matter to the front desk attendant Saturday afternoon and said she would have the maintenance man address it and they DID NOT. NASTY and GROSS STANDARDS. Marriot Do Better.
