Tale of Two City

A heritage hotel where charm and service can be inconsistent, but the unique atmosphere ultimately wins out. Hermonite must check out this truly Heritage Hotel.Lobby Manager Mr. Thapa was exceptionally polite and provided attentive, personal service. · Unique Ambiance: The colonial-era property offers authentic old-world charm and a lovely restaurant setting. · Prime Location: Excellent hilltop location near Chowrasta Mall, with beautiful views.Impersonal Welcome: Initial reception was indifferent. Early arrival (before 1 PM check-in) was met with curtness, or basic hospitality like water. Service quality seems dependent on which staff member you encounter. Worth it for the one-of-a-kind heritage experience, but manage expectations for modern, seamless service. For the best stay, adhere to check-in times and seek out staff like Mr. Thapa.Be clear about requests (like fireplace lighting) at check-in. Although the restaurant menu limited and the waitress are more inclined to pay attention to mainland India & if you happened to look like a local they avoid you; however with a smile and urging them to serve you they will come around. For me: despite minor cons, I would definitely come again with my family.

Luxury at affordable price

We heard about Cygnett Park Meghna from an acquaintance and looked it up online. We received the best deal through Agoda. Our stay was extremely pleasant. It was a luxury stay at a very affordable price.
