Bel hôtel mais un peu loin du centre. Literie confortable. Personne serviable et souriant Prix un peu élevé.

This hotel is exceptionally well designed and truly an oasis of calm. I spent most of the first hour just walking around the property saying “wow”. As others have mentioned, the interior design and style of the property is great! As is the delicious breakfast, huge pool and fast wifi! However the service feels a bit lacking which is unfortunate. Understandably when we stayed it was very definitely the low season, so things like the pool bar were closed to save on staffing presumably, with a message to visit reception if we wanted anything. However reception wasn’t always staffed and heading from the pool to reception would have been a bit cumbersome. Perhaps a phone on the bar to dial through to reception could be a good solution. However there did still seem to be staff pottering about but it did feel like there was very little checking in on guests. Additionally there was also very little by way of info. When we checked in we were ushered to our room but not really given much info about the property, or if and when things like the restaurant was or wasn’t open, and where to eat nearby in case. This is really key as the area the hotel is in is more residential, so it’s not super obvious as to what’s about and what might be worth a visit. Understandably not everyone speaks English (and nor should they! It’s on us to learn Khmer) so I can understand the reluctance of staff to be proactively engaging with guests. But a simple printed guide, even just in Khmer, that would explain things like property features, things to see and do nearby etc would really go a long way to elevating the experience. Again overall a great property and a comfortable stay. But a bit of extra planning around the service side of things could really make this an exceptional all-round stay.

바탐방에 여러번 방문하면서 꼭 묵어보고 싶은 숙소 였습니다. 하루만 묵는 것이 아쉬울 정도의 숙소였습니다. 직원분들도 모두 친절하셨습니다. 다음에도 주말을 이용하여 꼭 다시 한번 묵고 싶은 숙소 였습니다. 다만 제 개인 사정으로 숙박을 2일에서 1일로 줄였어야 했는데, 저에게 숙박금을 100% 받았으면서도 제 방에 손님을 받아 방을 치우느라 check in 시간이 늦어진 부분은 이해가 잘 되지 않는 부분입니다.

Room spacious, but now a little bit dated. Nice swimming pool and enjoyed being able to use a bike exploring the countryside. Breakfast need improvement though. Only options fried rice or continental croissant. Felt it was a little bit overpriced compared to some other hotels. Probably very nice when new.

A beautiful resort no doubt but the female owner, Shary, was not the best when it came to customer service. When I checked in, the female receptionist informed me I can pay when checking out the next day and whatever I ordered from the bar/restaurant would be added to my bill. Later on that evening around 10 pm, I went to pick up my laundry and Shary asks if I wanted to pay now. I thought it was super weird as I was previously told to pay when checking out. Also it was 10 pm and I didn't have my wallet on me when grabbing my laundry. The following morning I show up to the restaurant around 7 am which is when I was told breakfast would start. No one even acknowledges me for a good 20 minutes and when I walk up to the counter Shary states "Is breakfast included in your room? I didn't check." Again I thought that was extremely weird and unnecessary especially considering all of their reservation options across all websites indicate breakfast is included? Shary - was it my age or how I looked?
