Nice camping facilities and the cabin we stay is cozy, clean and well equipped (additional fee for linen and towels), just the shower room just a bit small. All other are good.

My family and I were looking for affordable accommodations for 5 adults and we chanced upon this place... the cabin was comfy and homely with a few downside. Small rooms space and toilets. more suitable for kids (not for adults) and also the lack of basic amenities like batheroom towels and bed linens makes it a bit troublesome. We do not live in Denmark and thus do have have bed linens with us. Other than that.. place is near Skagen town(15min drive) and surroundings are quiet and peaceful for a restful night sleep

The camp was surprisingly easy to access without a car. I had thought it would be very difficult, but it's not actually that far of a walk from Hulsig Station. It's about 17 minutes walking on flat roads, so as long as your luggage is reasonably easy to walk with, you can access the place after getting off the train. Once you're there, it's easy to rent a bicycle from the front desk and ride around the region, seeing Skagen, Grenen, Rabjerg Mile desert, the seaside, the lovely purple fields, etc. The pools are clean and heated so they're not too cold, and the hot tub and sauna are a nice bonus. The showers and toilets are mostly clean, as are the changerooms. The wifi worked well in my cabin, and the kitchen items provided were helpful. Do be sure that you read through the camp policies very carefully, as there were certain things I hadn't expected because I didn't read through full before booking - for example, if you do not bring your own sheets/pillow cases/duvet cover, you will have to pay quite a bit of money at the front desk to rent them (and you WILL want them, as the pillows and duvets themselves were not clean). If you are in a cabin, you also need to make sure that you clean according to the checklist provided before you leave, otherwise you will be charged a cleaning fee. These things are all manageable as long as one reads the information provided carefully and does not simply assume that this place works like any other hotel. The final point to mention is that the front desk staff are very kind and helpful, and are easily accessible during the front desk's opening hours. Overall it was a unique stay. There is another First Camp in the town of Skagen, but I thought this one was a bit more interesting, as it was less crowded, more rural, and quieter in general.
