Traditional Javanese style rooms with modern amenities. Nestled in the valley with its own unique weather when clouds are trapped... feels like living in the clouds. Will definitely comw back again... lota of nature insect sounds though..... if you like them, then it's perfect

교통이 아쉬웠지만, 고지대에 있는 곳이라 정말 시원하고 좋았어요. 바투르 산과 가까워서 새벽 일찍 일어나지 않고도 산을 구경할 수 있어서 좋았습니다. 지프투어를 할 수 있는 곳과 가까워서 북부 어디든 가기 좋았어요. 시설도 정말 유니크했고 디자인도 독특했어요. 조식이 아쉬웠습니다.

Nice and cosy experience during our stay. Room was great, bathroom clean and water runs well with good drainage. Breakfast can be better. Service was good as they offer us gluten free bread when requested. Food very expensive here compared to many similiar stars resorts we had stayed in many parts of Bali. We ordered room service but our room has limited space made dining uncomfortable. Room layout is abit strange. Outside has spacious veranda but inside room is small. Lovely view at breakfast overlooking the forest, cosy view at dinner with soft romantic lighting. Reception very warm & friendly. Kintamani area seems to need more tourists as the shops here tend to tout tourists at every chance by the road some keep pestering us, followed for more than 300m, very unpleasant. The rows of cafes along the main road over-looking Mt Agung is amazingly lovely experience.

Stayed here for 3 nights. PROS: Staff are friendly and accommodating. Very secluded and nice views from the top decks overlooking the dense forest areas. Rooms are clean. Restaurant food is pretty good overall, but some hits and misses (see CONS). There is a real sense of peacefulness and quiet here - perfect for a break from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of Bali. The spa services are fantastic - seriously one of the best massages I had in Bali. Make use of this! Wi-Fi is good. Easily connected to Netflix without any buffering issues. CONS: Main road is about a 5-10 walk from the resort and there are some small convenience stores scattered for basic amenities, but don’t expect to be within walking distance of anything memorable or worth walking about for. Outlying areas where you can see incredible panoramas of the valley overlooking Mount Batur will need a shuttle or hiring of scooters to get there (can be arranged through hotel). In room Tea and coffee service is very basic and if you’re a couple, ensure you ask for more tea or coffee sachets as they supply only enough for 1 person each morning during the cleaning service. Although the koi pond is serene and peaceful, there are only four sun beds, so if there is a family that has made themselves cosy in that cove, you won’t be able to make use of the space. First come, first serve basis. The food is good, but the steak meals (ordered twice) are not so great - first time, steak was way undercooked and second time, steak was very chewy. Rest of the meals available are well prepared. Don’t expect food to arrive at same time if you’re a party of five- limited staff in the kitchen means up to 20 minutes waiting time for some when others have already got their meal, but this is expected, especially if you come to have a late lunch and the staff are not expecting you in such a secluded and remote area where the vibe is to be patient! Overall, this is perfect for a 2-3 night stay if you want to find a getaway that leaves you rejuvenated, cared for and ready for your next stop.
