The room was so small you could hardly turn around, but this was not the main problem, it was above a Tex/Me Bar that blared music of the night, so forget sleep. The breakfast buffet was, however good. As for a helpful staff, what staff!

Pro: Room is very quiet. Bed is comfortable. Pillows are firm. Hotel and room is super clean. Hotel is in great location. Staff at the front desk are helpful some are not quite engaging. Could be because of their limited English. One staff (Claudia) speaks perfect English, very helpful and efficient. Got our issue resolved about our door key not working. She is very engaging. Had a good conversation with her about Portugal in general. Breakfast is good (yogurt, cereals, eggs, bacon, bread, jam, fruits, cold cuts, cheese). CON: The dining room is very noisy due to one staff (an older lady) slamming the dishes when washing. You could hardly have a conversation because of the loud noise. The days when she was not there, the staff seems to be cognizant of the noise and were trying to wash the dishes as quietly as they can. Maybe the management needs to train her and inform her the disturbance she is creating while washing the dishes. It is very annoying.
