We purposely choose Sanur area as our destination during 2023 eoy family holiday since we want to relax and find quiter area. Sanur have several newer hotel/ resorts but finally we choose this classic hotel so we stay in Intercontinental. As most leading hotel in the area, they have big space, one big swimming pool, gym and kids club. This is not a new hotel and it is been in Sanur for sometimes. It has one of the most refreshing welcoming drinks. The service and hospitality also very good The room has been renovated so it is cozy, AC works well and spacious. It's have spacious indoor patio to relax and have a fresh air without have to walk out from your room. Very close/ walking distance by to different popular beach front restaurants and not. Also near to water activities as well. The hotel also provides daily activities for family/ individual. Overall, it is nice hotel and have typical facilities. I have good experience staying in this hotel until our last night. Unfortunately, on the ast night there was technical issue i.e the water stop and we can not use the bathroom until the next morning. Very unfortunate event and hope this never happened again to anyone. Not sure what happened but turned out it happens for the entire hotel/ rooms. Very surprising especially within high season. If I may suggest, probably it can touch up further on the exterior of the hotel and refresh facilities to refresh overall hotel looks and performance as perception do matters. I strongly suggest for the hotel chain to quickly improve it to meet users expectations and standard amongst other five stars hotel in the area. I am not an expert in hotel management but logically those key improvements worth the investment to refresh the hotel looks and competitiveness which increase probability to boost room occupancy rate accordingly

As a family looking for a beach hotel close to Sanur Harbour for our Nusa Penida tour, this hotel was an excellent choice. The location is unbeatable and offers great value for money compared to other nearby options. We appreciated that all the rooms are suites, although there's room for improvement in how the space is utilised. For example, adding a wooden chess board and drying rack on the balcony or in the living area would be very practical for guests returning from beach and water activities. This would make the hotel feel more family-oriented rather than just primarily catering to weddings. Given the brand, it would also be wonderful to have more complimentary recreational activities available in the mornings, such as table tennis or other simple games for families to enjoy together. Overall, it's a great stay with a fantastic location, especially for travellers planning day trips from Sanur Harbour.

The hotel for location is brilliant. Walkable to everything. Beach out the front is lovely and staff are great. Breakfast is beautiful, and food great! However.. the hotel is run down, tiles missing on walls, and water pressure hardly enough to rinse hair. Our aircon was dreadfully noisy and had to be replaced, the out door blinds were broken and banged all night. The pool had green gunk around the edges.

I love to do laps so the big pool was perfect. I loved the big bath tub in the room. The room was great, just wish I had more time to enjoy. The staff were very kind and helpful. The manager was so kind and thoughtful to give me a late Checkout as I had a night flight which helped a lot.
