the location is actually in the middle of the village so get ready for the offroad kinda street. for the staff, it would be better to ask the guest for their breakfast perhaps when they do the check in (since i witness some guests want fried rice, but the staff’s not prepared and said that the guests supposed to ask the staff since yesterday so they can prepare it). this miscommunication is actually a little bit terrible but i am okay with it (we choose local omelette). other than that, place are great and their hospitality are quite good. thanks for the experience. will share it to my fellow friends.

Clean, spacious, gorgeous room and bathroom. Really good breakfast and the on-site restaurant serve tasty and fresh variety of food at reasonable price. You will get good quiet time as there is only 3 villa next to each other. Really helpful and kind staff. I was well taken care off. Cloud be better : Warm lights will be better than white lights in such a beautiful villa. Water was hot but pressure a bit low. The last 500m access road to the property is a difficult drive unless you have a jeep -- it was steep, uneven and narrow. A bit far from everything, but made up by the magnificent view and quiet location. There is not really any sound proofing because the wall/roof is made of rottan, and it could be quite cold at night from the open spots

I was unable to cancel my booking even after informing the hotel a week before my check-in date that I would not be coming. Despite their prompt response when I initially asked about late check-in, they completely ignored my messages when I requested to cancel the booking. Since the booking was non-refundable and there was zero follow-up or assistance from the staff, I’m leaving this review based on the poor service and lack of communication. Do I recommend this hotel? Absolutely not.

Good sightseeing, staffs are nice and friendly. But if you want to climb up the Mountain Batur to see sunrise, don't stay at this cottage. Because no outside vehicles are allowed to pick you up here, and you must pay more than Rp1500 per passenger to let them take you up there by a common sedan - in fact, we were taken back the cottage by two motor cycles !
