Unbelievably great hostel in Fao (which is a mile or so before Esponsende) with every amenity including a swimming pool! Sandra, the host, was just lovely and helpful. There was a drying rack for your laundry and charge cord near the bed. Kitchen was bright , modern and clean and they even had a take something/leave something system Minor quibble was plastic mattress protector which made a crunchy sound whenever I moved and a broken shower which left only one shower for the entire floor. I would not hesitate staying here again- location was great to restaurants and super market. If you are even considering this, don’t think any further , just book it!

absolutely dreamy
i can’t recommend this place enough. my only regret was that i couldn’t stay longer. the host is so incredibly kind and helpful and the place feels like a home. everything is super clean and i was able to do laundry in an actual machine! after a long day of walking the camino, i fell sound asleep on one of the lounge chairs by the pool. absolute bliss. 100/10
