At the Potipot Getaway Resort, 2025 ended on a high note. This peaceful haven was the perfect backdrop for a memorable family getaway, offering a tranquil environment where we could reconnect with each other. The accommodations were simple yet safe, facilitating a restful stay, and for the first time in years, I enjoyed uninterrupted sleep for over eight hours. The food was exceptional, delighting our taste buds, and the friendly, efficient staff added a personal touch to our experience. Overall, Potipot Resort provided a much-needed escape with my loved ones, and we are eager to return for another unforgettable stay.

The stay was over all nice but we had some issues with it. The beddings smelled like it has stayed inside a closet for a long time, the shower was not working. We needed to request for toothbrush, water and glass since they did not provide hygiene kits. The TV only had one local channel but the aircon was very cold. Over all, we are satisfied.

We booked a room near the beach, but instead we were placed at the attic 3F. AC was hot, no electricfan provided to help cool the room while AC is performing poorly. We arrived at around 12nn, exhausted from the long drive, and waited for the 2pm check in, no issue on that as it was normal. However, we were expecting to be in at exactly 2pm as we have informed them already of our arrival, but despite of several follow ups on the reception, we were only allowed to be in out room almost pass 230! We were not expecting this. Room was old, and even naked. I felt like being watched from outside bc the windows are not tinted, and the blinds that should cover you were worn out and have gaps on it. No sound proofing so you would clearly hear noises from outside as if there were just on your side. Pool is not properly maintained, water seems to be old and tiles even have molds on it. Water on the cr needs cleaning, there were tiny molds like dirt coming from the faucet. Restaurant was very good, they have an excellent cook and all food in their menu are superb to my liking. They were prioritizing the big groups. So if you are just a family of 3, expect to be attended 2hrs minimum, hope you can improve this and manage all guest that you accepted to be booked. No nearby resto, so you have no choice but to eat inside the resort. Very nice beach location, minimal waves and mostly shaded shore so you can stay as long as you like during the day. The resort has a lot of potential, just needed more improving on the facilities. I love the beach location that’s why I am recommending, hoping that they can improve their faciltiy and overall service.

Kung naghahanap kayo ng low-key, peaceful, and comfortable na resort, I really recommend Potipot Gateway. Na-upgrade pa ang room ko. Though the facilities still need improvement, it was very much worth it. staff are very accommodating.
