This is a compliment because in Iceland it is difficult to find a large hostel with everything in it--laundry, kitchen, large dorms, and a parking lot. Located in Selfoss, so a great place to pack things up before heading to the rural area. But as there are many travellers staying here, do not expect coziness and tidiness.

Well-Equipped Facilities, Kitchen Provides Coffee and Seasonings
The hostel has well-equipped facilities, including laundry and drying machines, as well as a kitchen. The kitchen is truly great, offering free coffee, tea, and cocoa, and it’s stocked with a variety of seasonings, making it perfect for solo travelers who want to save money by cooking their own meals. The shower has strong water pressure, and the hot water is steady, making it very comfortable in cold weather. There are also various nearby shops, such as bakeries, and the overall convenience of the location seems quite good.

Acceptable hostel for the price
Great location, close to a lot of things you need. Free laundry. Good kitchen facilities and clean bathroom/shower. No safe or locker to put your valuables, there’s a bedside cabinet but no key. No space to place or open a regular sized luggage. Beds in a 10 person room were so close to each other that you’ll disturb the other person when you move. It becomes stuffy in the room after a while. And no check-in personnel. If you’re ok with the negatives, I think this hostel is still a good place to stay while exploring the Golden Circle or south coast.
