Second time at this hotel. Same room. Very peaceful and calming. Great food and lovely staff. Very helpful. Looking forward to our next stay.

Room size was incredibly generous with a nice layout (plenty of seating, laying out bags, storage), huge TV and vanity area. Good amenities in the room for tea/coffee with biscuits and water provided. Nice bathroom with bathtub although it would be nice if shampoo and conditioner was provided. Room was clean, warm and nicely presented. The pillows were comfy but only a newer mattress would have been comfier. Location is good although a taxi ride/bus/car ride away from Matlock and Matlock Bath however co-op is just opposite and a lovely cafe is across the road for breakfast. For the price, I would expect the continental breakfast to be included and not charged as extra but as said there is a shop/cafe across the road.

Very nice accommodation. Room upstairs at the back so no pub noise . Choice of takeaway breakfast and evening pub menu if required . Also Co-op opposite for extra goodies / snacks . Very well positioned for all local attractions . Would recommend.

Excellent value-for-money resturant. I recommend all, staying in the hotel, to have dinner in the restaurant.

Very impersonal. Lots of flies and spiders in the room.
