Hotel Ísland - Comfort

Stayed two nights with my mom. The room was spacious, there was ventilation on the windows and heaters were working well. Big side table with kettle and coffee/tea and spacious open wardrobe. Only downside was a bad smell from the drainage and the pillow was not very comfortable. But the staff was very kind and welcoming and gave good tips for our visit in Reykjavik.

I booked this hotel for our last night thinking that the hotel had their own paid airport shuttle but it ended up being the FlyBus . Room was clean, bed was comfortable, check in was easy, information for booking the FlyBus shuttle was clear and concise. We drove our rental car there - fairly easy to find off the highway. Took the bus back - fairly short walk to the bus. I'd stay here again if I had a rental car - free parking.

it's too far from the city room is big and clean but the facility is old

Friendly staff, basic amenities. Plenty of parking space, but a bit far from downtown Reykjavik. Shopping can be done conveniently in the Smariland nearby.
