This is obviously a house with a long history, as evidenced by the old call bells for each room in the entryway. My room was changed at the last minute and I was tucked away under the eaves with a delightful view of the twisting streets below, feeling like a student in a garret. Very cozy. At the same time, a very modern bathroom with a good hot shower (I forgot to tell them that the shower drain was so sluggish that the accumulated water in the base threatened to overflow…)
