Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a safe accommodation turned out to be quite the opposite. Key issues I experienced: Despite a strict no-pets policy, the owner’s aggressive pit bull was on the premises that barked at guests. The room furniture was dirty, and the walls and the ceiling had cracks, giving the room a neglected feel. The bathroom floor was sticky, as if alcohol had been spilled, and it was never cleaned. It lacked hooks for clothes so I had to place my cloths and towels on radiator. The hallway had a strong, pervasive odor of drugs and alcohol, which was very unsettling. I requested clean towels on the second night but was told none were available, forcing me to use the same dirty towels. The curtains did not close properly, allowing light from 5 a.m., disrupting our sleep. Moreover, I was shocked to learn that some residents have been living there for 12 years as permanent tenants, while only a few rooms are offered to short-term guests. The primary reason I booked the hotel was to feel safe, especially at night. However, due to these factors, I left my kids at a relative’s house because I did not feel it was safe for them to stay. We only stayed at the hotel for about 6-7 hours each night, just to sleep, avoiding it during the day. I have pictures which will back my claims and I can send these if required. Excellent value for money and most pleasant staff

The owner was very accommodating and the rooms were clean. Music from the bar can be heard through the walls, but the street is just as noisy and it didn't affect our stay at all.
