This place is not advertising itself as a new or modern hotel so don’t expect such amenities. So if you arrive with realistic expectations, you will have a good time. The staff is very nice and try to accommodate you as best as possible. The buildings are very old and very quaint. There is no air conditioning and the water heater doesn’t work great. But you open the windows at night and in the morning and it’s fine as long as you are not allergic to mosquitoes as I was. Then you have to find another solution (I used all forms of mosquito repellent in the room). There is a restaurant attached where the locals come frequently. But the area is very quiet as is the rest of the town. The facilities could be a bit cleaner as some of it is very dusty and some areas have not been cleaned in years-that would be my only criticism. I don’t think the pictures of the facilities are very current either but not necessarily misleading.

Quiet hotel deal for visit to Florence
Very friendly staff, clean rooms, lots of quietness in the village at 35min driving distance to Florence city. We enjoyed the breakfast!

Very Cozy Family Business
We loved our stay. It was a bit of a drive to Florence but the place was very peaceful and we spend a lot to time in the adorable restaurant downstairs. The staff was super friendly and we felt right at home. My only recommendation is installing some AC units in the rooms.
