Great friendly place to stay. The owners were super helpful. Location is good, (we had a motorbike though, with no transport it's a bit out of town). Only downside was very weak to non existent internet connection, maybe not the fault of our accommodation, but really not good enough..... & the chorus of cockerels from all hours of the night. They are the old man's best Fighting Cockerels, and I know it's a normal thing here, but they compete for crowing rights in the night and could be located further away from the chalets to solve the problem. Talking of the chalets... Spotless in the new side. Well worth the extra to stay in one of the new ones.

The old couple who run the inn are friendly and helpful but I couldn't recommend staying here. The bathroom stank of sewage, there was no hot water, what water there was smelt. There was no seat on the toilet and the toilet was dirty when we arrived. The mat outside the bathroom looked like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. Disgusting! The room itself seemed to be clean but the mattresses were really uncomfortable with springs popping up all over. It's in a peaceful area but as others have said be prepared to be woken up before dawn by the screeching cockerels. It may be close to the Chocolate Hills but be warned that there isn't a single good restaurant within an hour's drive in all directions. A thoroughly unpleasant stay
