We chose this hotel primarily for its location - nice quiet part of Baden. This used to be a good business hotel but there has been a change in its management - unfortunately, its standards seem to have slipped. The maintenance also does not seem to be up to scratch. Close to the railway station, restaurants and shops. Room: We stayed 7 nights in this hotel. After staying 5 nights in a decent sized room, we had to shift to a smaller room because there was a problem with the hot water supply to the room. Note that there different types of rooms in this hotel. Most rooms do not have air-conditioning though they have what seems to be an air circulation system. Bed: A bit too soft. Front Desk staff: Helpful but seemed a bit stressed. Bathroom (in the first room allotted to us): Good size, neat and clean. Breakfast: Decent spread. Besides the usual continental offering, cooked eggs were available. Very friendly and helpful restaurant staff.

When we arrived, our room was not ready yet. However, the staff made us feel comfortable by offering some beverage because the weather outside was so warm. It's a lovely hotel but did not have AC units. The location is excellent. It's close to the bus station, coop, and walking distance to the old town.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Ramaiah Hotel in Baden. The experience was far below what was promised at the time of booking. Upon arrival, the receptionist was unfriendly and unhelpful. We were not given the room category that we had booked and paid for, and our concerns were not handled professionally. When we asked for clarification, the staff showed little interest in resolving the issue. What made the experience even more upsetting was that we felt we were treated differently because of our nationality and appearance. While I cannot know the staff’s intentions, the way we were treated gave us the impression that guests are not treated equally. As Indian travelers, we felt unwelcome and disrespected throughout our interaction with the reception staff. The customer service was among the worst I have experienced in any hotel. Instead of making guests feel valued, the staff made us feel ignored and dismissed. I would not recommend this hotel to Indian travelers or, frankly, to anyone expecting professional service, fairness, and respect. There are many better accommodation options in Baden where guests are treated with dignity and receive the service they pay for.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The room are nice and clean. Staff were friendly.
