Because of the Taylor Swift concert, the hotels in Zurich on the night was super expensive. I booked this one because it is close to Aarau station and convenient to transportation. Bad things: No air conditioner No fridge Small roomm (much smaller and older than the pictures) No staff Good things: Self check in was smooth Breakfast was acceptable

DO NOT STAY HERE — ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything was disappointing. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and completely unprofessional. When we needed help, there was practically nobody available to speak to. Our room was filthy and unbearably hot, and the cooling equipment provided in the room didn’t work. There was no one available to properly complain to, no one to offer a solution, and no one to even bring us a working replacement. We were simply left to deal with it. And then there was the issue with the parking. The hotel gives the impression that parking is available, but when you actually arrive and ask about it, suddenly they tell you to use a paid public parking garage nearby and pay for it yourself. That is not the hotel “having parking.” That is simply a public paid parking facility that anyone can use. Using the existence of a random paid parking garage as a selling point for the hotel is extremely misleading. We also specifically booked a double/king-size bed, but were given a single bed instead. Another basic part of our booking that they failed to get right. So, to summarize: dirty room, unbearable heat, broken equipment, terrible customer service, nobody available to deal with complaints, a misleading claim about parking, and the wrong bed. There was nothing about this stay that felt professional or acceptable. I would never, ever stay here again. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — not to friends, not to family, not to anyone. Honestly, I wouldn’t even recommend getting close enough to this hotel to look at it, let alone actually booking a room. Save yourself the money, the frustration, and the disappointment. Stay somewhere else. Absolutely disgraceful. 0/10.

Check in is a problem.

I should not complain about the staff because there are none (This means there is noone to help with check in. If you do not have a mobile phone the only way to speak to someone is using the door intercom which is not accessible from the checkin computer). Check in was ropey due to their software package and took multiple attempts (In the past it had not worked at all so I did not have a room when it was -5 degrees outside). Wifi did not work. Ambient temperature of the room was somewhere in the mid 30s although with the fan on and window open I eventually slept once the nightclub downstairs closed at either 2 or 3 am. It is really not a particularly good hotel and I only use it as it is the only option by public transport in Aarau when my flights arrive late evening in Zurich
