Otway coastal villas

Everything was exceptional—the check-in, the villa layout, the landscape. The location is superb, just 5 minutes away from the 12 Apostles. Just a minor issue: the bathroom floor was a bit too soapy and slippery. We even spotted kangaroos just behind our villa! Will definitely come back.

Very close to the Twelve Apostle, not too far a drive from the nearest town to get supply for the duration of the stay.

We arrived after dark so finding the location was a challenge. The property is on a dirt road and not readily visible. The house is bare bones in terms of accoutrements - old towels, average quality furnishings, basic provisions, one heat/cool unit for the entire place. Not a villa by any stretch. A vacation cabin perhaps. I also found the bed very uncomfortable with a mattress that clearly needs to be replaced. We recommend a motion light for the front so access to the house is less challenging. On the plusside, the wildlife viewing (birds) from the estuary across from the property was lovely.

The villa was easily accessible from the Great Ocean Road. View towards the marsh was great, as there’re birds staying around and also reflection of the setting sun could be seen at dusk. The villa was essentially a complete house with kitchen, bathroom and laundry.
