Good hospitality, they prepare light breakfast and even give voucher to redeem free dim sum. Didn't expect shared bathroom for the twin room, but it was ok since we booked both the room on the same floor. The bathroom has urine smell, need to improve on this. Overall is a good stop over for Mae hong son loop.

Stayed here during my solo ride of the Mae hong son loop. Check in was a little confusing, no one was there when I arrived. But easily figured it out, once you arrive call or text the owner and they will send their mother who is the hostel manager to let you in. Only had to wait 15 minutes. Feel good knowing you’re directly supporting a family business, great location central to the lake / temples / markets. The one room is small for 4 people, has 2 bunk beds. Got a little stuffy but keeping the AC on easily remedied this. No complaints, perfect for one night basic accommodation during the loop. Met very cool people from Italy and Germany who I still keep in touch with a year later. Memories to last a lifetime, this stay was a great part of my adventure Would recommend to any solo travellers

Would definitely recommend it as a basic facility to sleep in for a night. That said, you have to be able to tolerate extremely firm mattresses bordering on concrete. Luckily I didn't have a top bunk mate so I took the mattress pad down from there, folded it in half and was able to get through the night.
