宿はグーグルマップの案内で到着できます。バス停から5分以内。部屋は狭いですが清潔でお湯の出も良いです。朝食はパンだけだがコーヒーのお替りもできます。宿主も親切で丁寧な対応です。

Not a luxury Riad, but for the price of 20eur you get a good size room with attached bathroom and simple breakfast in the morning. Worth the price!

Riad Chez Brahim is a budget riad hotel in Essaouira. As such it meets the expectations of the price. This is a mom and pop establishment. It's a riad, meaning that all the rooms are organized around a central balcony and lightwell. All room access is by stairs and there is a terrace for relaxing and for breakfast. This is an older establishment without the finer touches of higher-priced places. Nevertheless, everything works including an excellent shower. The bed was good. Overall it was clean-ish but aging. Cushion covers and bed sheets suggest that it might be time to refresh a few things. A lick of paint here and there might help also. Breakfast was adequate with enough food and lovely fresh bread. Hotter coffee would have helped a bit more. The location was good but gets taken down a mark because of transient odours from outside.

The man that checked me in was very nice. The room is damp and smells like mildew. The breakfast was disappointing as it is only tea and bread. I asked about laundry and was quoted 50 dh, however when I gave the lady my clothes she told me 70 dh. She returned my clothes in the same dirty bag I gave her. I now have to re-wash them. She told me she didn't want my money, but I will pay her of course. Not looking for freebies,just don't like being ripped off!
