I stayed for three nights and overall had a lovely stay. The accommodation was clean and well-maintained, and the grounds were tidy. Being located out of town meant it was peaceful, with no highway noise, and it was still easy to get into town when needed. The only downside was the shower head—it didn’t suit my preferences and made it difficult to find a comfortable temperature. Despite that, I enjoyed my stay and found the environment relaxing.

The location was nice and quiet, but unfortunately the unit we were given didn't fit a portacot which I was told it would when I booked. Our stay was lovely otherwise.

Considering your paying premium prices, they ask you to leave the units as you found them. Pity their attention to cleaning is lacking. Both fans were black with dust. We fixed the loose leaking showerhead. The laminate on the cupboards (bedroom one and kitchen) was either pulled off or coming off. The 2 bedroom unit was advertised with toiletries, unfortunately this meant, one small round soap to share between the basin and shower. Upon arrival, I was met by two broken English spoken personal, hurrying me off to the unit, and the only thing I could understand was that i had booked the unit earlier that day, and we had arrived late and it had bothered them??. No one reached out to ask what time we were arriving. I didn’t not even make it inside the office, basically the key was put into my hand, given a map, they pointed to where our cabin would be and I was shooed along. When you’re paying premium prices in the off season, you expect a better experience. Attention to detail is important. Esp the cleaning. My white bedspread had stains on it. The two couches were old, stained and covered in a cheap couch covers. The shower had someone else’s hair in it and the light bulbs required changing as three lights did not turn on. Also PowerPoints did not work. Unfortunately because the office wasn’t open when we arrived or left, we could not report any of the issues we come across. Would we pay premium prices again for poor communication, a very tired looking unit? No.

It would have been okay had they delivered what they advertised. Pic of booking was of newer cabin but we got a very dated 80s cabin instead. This wasn’t what we signed up for. I’m half tempted to request a refund but can’t be bothered as it was only for 1 night.
