Great service from all the staffs especially the lady who check us in (forgot to ask for her name). There's a river within the resort which is a plus. Food from the restaurant is great too. Overall,great stay and definitely will be returning again.

This was a lovely resort, a little way off the main road with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast is above average as Thai style buffet breakfasts go and the restaurant and coffee shops are very nice. We will be coming back again soon.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. TLDR(Too Long Don't Read) The resort has some really nice features, especially the private pool, bicycles, restaurant, live music, and peaceful atmosphere. The main things to keep in mind are the remote location and some minor cleanliness and slight maintenance issue. Will I stay here again? You bet I would. If you decide to read the full review, more somtam to your sticky rice. PROS: The restaurant was good, and I especially enjoyed the live band in the evenings. Our room was upgraded to one with a private pool, which was a great bonus. The resort also provides free bicycles, which are useful for getting around. There is also a nice coffee shop with both indoor air-conditioned and outdoor seating, plus a small garden with parrots and other birds. One thing I appreciated was how quickly the staff responded when we had an issue with the air conditioning and water they fixed it promptly. There are tents for glamping if that's your thing, you can shower to water monitor cheering you on 😈just kidding didn't see any water monitor which is quite interesting now that I think about it 👀. There's a small waterfall for those afraid of Sarika Waterfall, you know who you are 🫣 CONS: There were, however, a few drawbacks. The resort is quite far from everything by walking, so it is difficult to walk anywhere. Even the nearest 7-Eleven feels too far to reach on foot, and getting around by bicycle can still take some time 🤦🏿‍♀️. This is fine if you're looking for a quiet and secluded stay, but less convenient if you want easy access to shops and other places. Candid thoughts if you aren't driving don't stay here, you need a means of transportation to stay here. The food selection could also be improved. During our stay, there was very little variety, and some dishes were already cold when we came to eat, even relatively early in the morning(8:00AM). The room was generally okay, but there were a few dusty areas, and the toilet had an unpleasant smell👃🏿which never left 😨.

I had the misfortune to stay when there was some sort of government meeting when the personnel were bought by mini buses who chose to park, partially blocking my access to my room and a constant audience to me and my partner enjoying the private pool I booked. Disappointing after paying 2000 bt a night. Good breakfast

This resort is a hidden gem! Loved the tranquil atmosphere and fresh air, a perfect escape from the city. The spacious grounds are beautifully landscaped and the surrounding forest creates a truly relaxing environment. Their coffee shop is a highlight, serving up delicious coffee and treats with a lovely view. ☕ Plus, the prices for both the accommodation and food were very reasonable. 👍 Highly recommend The Chamuang Forest for a refreshing getaway!
