We paid 17.8k per day, anything more than 4K per day seems like a waste of money for this hotel in which it showed that the room is spacious and has a big window with a view, but when they gave us the room, the room was small and cardboard size and window that too open to the view of another hotels entrance and no view as such. Although the food was good , some of the staff was good but a lot of money wasted for a hotel that claimed it was fabulous. In that price we get amazing hotel with impressive facilities like gym, pool, view, garden, spa etc, but all this hotel has is a room and food, that too the sitting area gets too crowded in the morning has no place to sit. The management fails to refuse any mistake and blames it on the upper hotel management, we asked for water and on getting bottles (which were charged) , asked if we can get RO water instead, but they kept complaining that there billing system doesn’t take back order and we have to pay. On raising this to management the old receptionist was not at all cooperative, just kept blaming everything on the upper management and refused to take any accountability, clearly looks like the person is not trained in hospitality business. Overall the experience was not enjoyable at all considering what they claim to be and what they actually are. Really disappointed and would not recommend it to anyone at all

1. Location is average although it is better than many other properties near the Gulmarg Gondola. It is a little away from Gondola so more peaceful. Balcony is good for only two to sit and not all the rooms have a Balcony. 2. Bathrooms are small and bathing area is extremely tiny. 3. Bathrooms are the lowest point of this property. 4. Food is another low point. Food can take you by surprise because it's a mix of a dush good and a dish bad in an order. In my one order of snacks chicken pakora and mixed pakora were good but chilli mushroom was laughable. I felt like calling the chef and ask him that how he managed to spoil such a simple recipe and who taught him to add red Food colour in a recipe that needs only soya sauce, vinegar and tomato chilli sauce. In another order for dinner yellow Daal was exceptionally good but simple gobhi aloo had thick and big pieces of deep fried potatoes more than any trace or gobhi. Besides eighty percent of the menu was unavailable as there was very thin occupancy in the hotel and the tandoori wasn't lit. Rice was cold and hard. Lastly, the staff doesn't know that before expecting tips food must be kept covered to keep it warm during the room service. Over all this is just another property in it's class. Nothing great about it. If you get a good deal compared to other properties it's OK. But paying competitive price for it wouldn't be a good idea.

Courteous staff, wonderful facilities, great views, good food and really close to the gondola

Only good thing about the hotel was the Restaurant staff. They were gracious and trained, Food was also good. Coming to the room, I wasn’t allotted the room with hill view on the first day, I reached out to front desk they denied. Only when I complaint to Agoda, they agreed to change my room next day. It’s on costlier side as well. Not worth apart from food.

THE HEATING ARRANGMENT WAS VERY POOR. WHOLE NIGHT WE WERE SHIVERUING IN COLD. THE HOTEL HEATERS WERE NOT WORKING & EXCUSE GIVEN THAT DUE TO OXYGEN SHORTAGE THEY ARE NOT OPERATING HEATERS. VERY POOR HOTEL EVEN AFTER PAYING MORE Rs.22000.00 PER NIGHT.
