If you are not dependent on public transport in Madrid, this hotel is a very good option. According to Google Maps, the hotel appears to be extremely close to Madrid Atocha Station. However, due to the location of the station’s exit gates and the lack of a lift or wheelchair-accessible route to street level, walking from the station with luggage is not recommended. Stairs are the only practical option to reach the street. The good thing is that the taxi stand is right next to the hotel. However, other bus and metro stops are relatively far away. As a hotel, it is excellent and offers all the amenities one would expect. The restaurant on the ground floor is also very good. The staff are friendly, helpful, and responsive. Overall, a very good stay—especially if you plan to use taxis or other modes of transport rather than relying on public transportation.

Very good location which very nearby train station

The room was so hot. Even with a maintenance man to come tell us nothing was wrong with the air conditioning it was horribly hot. The outside temperature wasn’t even too hot maybe in the 80s and the a/c felt like nothing was blowing out. Wouldn’t recommend for an America who is used to American air conditioning. Staff was also very short with us and we ordered room service only for it to not show up. Wouldn’t recommend.

Close to Atocha and town. Staff are helpful.
