I stayed in this hotel for over a week, and I really enjoyed the stay. It's a premium 3-star hotel, hence it's not cheap. It's value for money. The staff is very helpful most of the time, except at odd times, like midnight. I work during the midnights, so when I call for service, there is no response. However, if I go down the stairs to reception, the staff are more than willing to help. Also, the security staff always greets with a smile. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay there. Heads-up: But keep it in mind, the whole compound is non-smoking, so if you want to smoke in your rooms/bathrooms, this is not a place for you.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Vijayawada for a short stay. The property carries the IHG branding and the rooms were OK overall. Location is convenient and suitable for both business and transit stays. One area that could be improved is parking. The parking facility is located in the adjacent property rather than within the hotel premises, which can be inconvenient, especially during rain.

There is no internet supposedly because of some renovation. The bathroom has no hand shower and toiletries provided are basic minimum. Not even shampoo. Soaps are also not good. As the hotel is on main road, traffic noise is heard in the rooms. complimentary Breakfast is okayish. Not visited their restaurant and bar. The bath towels are also not so hygienic. No hand towels provided. But the support staff and valet facilities for car parking were very good. All staff very helpful

1. Staff was very supportive. Provides additional bed immediately on request, though as per standard charges. 2. Bath room door latch was very filmy and getting stuck. Dangerous for customers. Pls replace that circular knob with some standard latch. 3. Most irritating part was poor maintenance in the hall where buffet breakfast was served. So many flies were roaming around and it was totally disappointing experience. Very unhygienic. 4. No lift to cellar where food was served. Not convenient for all. 5. Location was good.

Good: The hotel, location, rooms, cleanliness etc were great * The Manager on dury (Kumar) was very helpful. He patiently showed us different rooms hoping to find a room where the construction noise was bearable. When we didn't find one, he got the construction stopped after 30 minutes. Bad: * They were remodelling the restaurant and the construction sound was audible at 11:30 PM * I called them twice in the day to make a reservation and they didn't mention even once that construction was going on. * When asked when it would stop, the staff first lied that it would stop by 11:30 PM and then said 2:30 AM * The front desk staff was rude when we spoke to them about getting the construction work stopped. * The parking was hard to find. They asked us to park in a different building without clear directions. All the spaces in the building are marked as reserved. When we ask the watchman/parking staff, he started shouting at us saying I'm just joining duty, park wherever you want.
