Casa Villaseñor Hotel

Casa Villasenor is for the Tourist who wants to explore the history and true beauty of Lucban outside of his hotel room, which is indeed very clean and cool. CV is a few meters away from the 1743-built baroque church, which is reached best by walking to enjoy its full photo view complete with the blue skies on a non-rainy time of day. The original church was a wooden visita established in 1578. Not interested in exploring the public market (a pity!), the Tourist can walk toward the town's Rizal Monument and Plaza, and enjoy the most beautiful and refreshing square of forest-like area while sitting on a cool bench under the shade of centuries (?) old trees that surround the plaza. And take that selfie with the "I love Lucban" signage at the background. He can then walk toward Buddy's or my favorite Pepe N Mary's, and other quaint and small cafes. Lucban's longanisa is not to be missed together with the town's unique pancit habhab. He can then ride a tricycle and visit the Southern Luzon State University Campus and end up at Kamay ni Hesus or Batis Aramis. These two places attract most of the vehicles that visit Lucban so be ready to be surprised by the heavy traffic in the area. if you have time, eat halo-halo in Lucban. Bring home raw honey from lucban's bees, longanisa, and dried balat ng kalabaw, perfect for kare-kare or callos with garvanzos recipes!

Saw this hotel from a vlogger on youtube and i decided that i should stay there. Location and parking is what i was looking for. It’s located behind the church where there’s local shops and local/chain places to eat. Parking is in their 2+ car garage, so it was very secure. No restaurant but they do have a small selection of drinks and snacks to purchase, but breakfast was included which is take out from a local restaurant of your choice silog which was pretty decent and it arrived still hot. Room and hallways were clean, and staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

My biggest sticking points when traveling are safety and cleanliness of my accommodations. I felt safe in the hotel, and also felt the room was kept very clean. Staff was friendly enough but they did feel fairly… new? Not a complaint, just a feeling. Will hopefully be back in the future.
