Stopped for one night before travelling to Jersey. David the host was so welcoming and the accommodation was perfect. Breakfast in the morning was superb. I would recommend this b+b to anyone

We loved staying here, great location, lovely setting and David is a fantastic host! Super chatty and friendly, we felt right at home 🙂

Great distance to the Quay and 10 min walk from train station. Lovely breakfast, homemade toast! Enjoyed my stay. David was a great host! Nice meeting him.

Highs: location - just yards from the waterfront, loads of bars and eateries (there were ear plugs provided in the room but they weren't necessary - despite being close to the nightlife it really wasn't noisy) and also from a very cheap multi-story car park. breakfast - really nicely presented, homemade bread too. the host - pleasant and interesting. the dog - cute as! Lows: our room (Benett) - very small, would make a better single room really. the en suite - quite shabby and dated (ironic as the host spoke of his 'high-end' bathroom detailing business) and very, very small - too cramped to get dressed in there. the bed - too soft and the bedstead is loose. supplies: milk in the room was off (the hospitality tray is on the windowsill and it was a warm weekend so perhaps understandable) and so was the butter at breakfast. All of the above are negligible really - but the kicker was having GB 'News' on the tv at breakfast. However lovely breakfast is, it turns to ashes in my mouth when served with a dollop of background racism and right wing hysteria.

This is a BnB and not a hotel. David is very pleasant, and breakfast was delicious, but the room we had was tiny, barely fitting a 3/4 bed. No blackout curtains with street lighting, and small (clean) bathroom
