I went with my wife and a friend and we booked through one of those hotel apps. It had a decent rating, and it also had a bad review. But when I did the research on the bad review, it seemed that he was more the exception than the rule. It had something to do with a room change accommodation because, apparently, their pet pissed on the bed and then they wanted to blame it on a prior occupant. Pillows, bed sheets, clean and fresh. Bath towels also, The room itself is fairly clean, except for back in the dusty hidden corners and behind the dresser/TV stand. Fox Nation was available, and I'm sure there were some other premium channels as well for the TV. It's a pretty good location except for it being near the train tracks. So, you get some train traffic noise, not the horns, but just general train traffic noise, maybe 2 to 3 times a night. I'm not a light sleeper, so it wasn't a problem for me. I accidentally left my laptop charger there, and they held on to it for the few days it took me to notice that it was missing. They shipped it to me when I asked them to, to my address, FedEx cost only, no extra fees. The staff were very polite and friendly all of them.

Who puts a barn style door for the restroom/shower/closet? Well this place does! To top it off it's same size as the opening. No overlap at all. So uncomfortable! Then I picked this place bcuz they offered breakfast. I even asked at check in and they confirmed it. Well next morning when they opened back up at 8am there was nothing. Only these tiny cups for coffee which was horrible tasting! And today at check out day. Still no breakfast. And the trains that pass thru all night and day. If you're not used to trains at night this will definitely be bothersome to you.

We had a positive experience during our three night stay. This was our base location to visit Sedona, Monument Valley, and Petrified Forest NP. There were lots of wonderful cafes nearby. The room was clean and spacious; the bathroom a bit tight. The staff were super courteous and helpful. They provided fresh towels everyday upon request. And the cherry on top was the unbeatable price point. I would stay here again, and recommend this hotel.

My teenager and I just love this motel. The staff is amazing! It is always clean and doesn't smell like disinfectant. (Some places we have stayed seem to be clean, but the smell is enough to keep you awake at night.) I highly recommend Econo Lodge!
