this motel is being completely remodeled on both the exterior and the interior. Compared to how it was about 2-3 years ago, it's almost unrecognizable and it's a work in progress. It has a bad rap, but that's mostly from the shady people who used to stay here and so shady activities. The entire staff is also a new bunch, and everyone from the maintenance team, the housekeepers, and the front desk staff are much more professional and actually take pride in their jobs. one thing for sure, not one of them is here to put up with anyone's crap or stupidity, and they will not hesitate to ask you to leave the property. My fianceé and I have been here for nearly 3 months and have never had a problem with anyone or anything, and it's made our stay very pleasant and the rates are very economical and I can personally vouch and say these rooms are much more nicer, cleaner, and more modernized than the motel directly behind it, that place is dirty and the furniture and rooms are outdated and are on average about *** to *** higher per night and not nearly as comfortable as the Nampa Inn & Suites. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a cheap alternative for temporary housing, or even a good place to stay overnight or for a few days while visiting the treasure valley area. It was a safe place to sleep for couple of nights. And cheapest rate i could find last minute. The front desk is really sweet. Room was mostly clean, but there were buggers on the walls and mac & cheese on the ceiling lol. Plus the drain in the bathtub the water starts coming up to ankles while taking shower.

For a budget place...it's not too bad

This is long, so buckle up because it was TERRIBLE. I just had the absolute worst experience of my life at the Nampa Inn and Suites. I will never again stay here, nor will I ever recommend it. We stayed for a week. First of all, we arrived and the younger lady working there was very pleasant and kind. I did not get names but I believe she works the day shift. She was one of two employees who even showed an ounce of kindness toward us during our entire stay. We got to our room and at first, it appeared decent enough. Then we realized we could not get out of our room because the door was not working properly. Apparently, the handle and scanner had just been replaced because it was not working. It looked like the door had been kicked in and the door had repaired damage all around the handle area. There were no other rooms on the 2nd floor and I have a bad knee, so we stayed in the room. If we finagled the doorknob correctly, eventually it would open. By about the 2nd day of our stay, it was not giving us much trouble. Then we realized there was no bar in the clothes hanging area to hang clothes. I had brought dressier clothes because I had anticipated that I might have a job interview during my stay. Later, when my granddaughter went to take a shower, she realized there were only 2 towels for 3 guests and both were extremely dirty. We pulled out the desk chair and it was completely covered in food smushed into the chair. We asked for more towels, a different desk chair, and a bar for the clothes hanging area. We received nothing but rude behavior from the employees behind the counter. We asked for towels several times during our visit, and were always treated very rudely. We asked to have our rooms cleaned so we wouldn’t have to keep bothering them and were told we would receive it Tuesday and Thursday, no one ever came to service our room. There was also no hot water in the bath and the shower head fell off several times while we were there. The first night we were there, my daughter’s car broke down. She was unable to get home to Caldwell, so we checked with the front desk to be sure she could stay. We asked for a roll away bed and said we would pay for it. We never received it. Oftentimes, we were told that they would “have the repair guy” come check something or that housekeeping would bring us something, both of which never happened. My daughter and granddaughter went down to use the pool area. They went to the hot tub and it was green and filthy. That was corrected the next day by maintenance as was the disgusting pool that was dirty and another guest the next day told me it looked like someone had defecated in it. Both were much cleaner on the 2nd day and remained somewhat clean. The 2nd night we asked for more garbage bags and a broom so we could sweep up our room to keep it tidy. The older lady behind the counter was very gracious our entire stay and she happily gave me both items. I did not want to leave our room messy or attract creatures. We had no problem with taking out our own garbage and sweeping the floor ourselves. The next day, my granddaughter accidentally locked our key in the room. This was the only time that this happened during our stay. I went to the desk to ask for another key. The female employee threw up her hands like she was frustrated and made me another key. She did not speak ONE word to me. Just acted like I was bothering her. Later that night, our key cards stopped working completely. I went to the front desk and a gentleman remade our keys. He said they had expired. However, they still did not work. It was late and they worked on the doors outside the hotel, so we waited until morning to ask to have them fixed again. We also asked for the broom again, but they could not locate the dustpan. The employee at the desk told us to sweep it into the hall and housekeeping would get it in the morning.
