I recently stayed at Moshi’s Nest, a relatively new property (about three years old) located off Anna Nagar Road. It is an excellent, affordable option for anyone visiting Aravind Eye Hospital, given its proximity and price point. Pros: Value: Very reasonable rates. Room Quality: The lighting in both the room and bathroom is bright and well-designed. Accessibility: Ample parking is available for personal vehicles, and it is easy to get Uber, Ola, or auto-rickshaws in the area. Service: The staff is courteous and decent. Cons & Areas for Improvement: While the hotel itself is generally clean, the surrounding street is quite small and not well-maintained. Inside the room, I noticed signs of wear and tear that require immediate attention from management: Plumbing: The flush was running continuously, wasting water, and the health faucet was leaking heavily. Cleanliness: The floor tiles were quite slippery; I advised the staff that a deep cleaning is necessary to ensure safety. Verdict: This hotel is comfortable for couples or individuals visiting for hospital/medical purposes. However, due to the current maintenance issues and location, I would not currently recommend it for leisure or holiday stays."

I had a fairly comfortable stay overall. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, and most of the basic amenities were provided, including a dental kit, soap, and a hot water sink, which was appreciated. There are enough furnitures and facilities provided. However, cleanliness is an area that definitely needs improvement. During the night, several cockroaches appeared in the room. I had to deal with around six of them which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, the bed sheets and blankets had visible stains and marks, which did not give a clean or fresh impression. There were spider webs in the room and bathroom. The TV in the room was also not functioning. Although the staff came to check it after I reported the issue, it remained unresolved, and there was no follow-up from their side. It wasn’t a major concern for us, so we didn’t pursue it further, but better responsiveness would have been appreciated. The location is slightly inconvenient as it’s not very central, but there are decent restaurants within walking distance, and food delivery services like Swiggy, Zomato are available. Overall, for the price, the stay was comfortable and decent, but improving cleanliness and maintenance would make a big difference.

Pros: Location is in mid of the city, the access to main spots were very easy to travel. Cleanliness of the room is very good. Bed, shower and tooth kit was good and very comfortable. Cons: Staff was not that welcoming. Bathroom faucets was worst and didn't seems to be maintained at all. Complete room should be checked after a stay, it seems not done properly! That's all from our end! Overall it was ok for us!
