My wife and I stayed at Starlit Suites Kochi for 7 nights. I booked a Super Deluxe Room with breakfast included. When we arrived at the hotel on the afternoon of 21st November, the reception staff welcomed us with warm smiles. After I shared my booking ID, they verified it and one of the staff members guided us to our room. After showing the room, he asked whether we had booked with breakfast. When I confirmed, he informed us that we would also receive complimentary dinner for two people. This was a pleasant and unexpected gesture, and we were very happy. The Super Deluxe Room was spacious, with a separate sitting room, fridge, plates, and a small kitchen area. The room had two toilets—one in the sitting area and another in the bedroom. We received two 1-liter water bottles daily at no extra cost, and coffee was also provided in the room. The king-size bed was large, but the mattress was a bit hard and not very comfortable. While the room was generally clean, there is room for improvement. The wooden flooring needs upgrading, and the toilets are quite small with dim lighting. Brighter lights would make a noticeable difference. Additionally, there was no hair dryer, iron, or ironing board available in the room. We noticed cockroaches and insects near the gym corridor, and one day we even saw a cockroach near the buffet table. Mosquitoes were also present in the reception area during the morning and afternoon. The hotel should consider regular pest-control treatments to address these issues. On the positive side, the staff were welcoming and very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner every day—the food was tasty and satisfying. The location is convenient, being very close to Forum Mall, which was ideal for us. However, there are no other major shopping malls in the immediate vicinity. I would like to suggest adding an iron and ironing board, as well as a hair dryer, in the rooms, as these would be very helpful for guests. Additionally, general renovation—such as improving wall paint, upgrading cleanliness standards, and enhancing lighting—would greatly improve the overall guest experience. Overall, the 3-star Starlit Suites Kochi is a good place to stay in Cochin, with friendly and helpful staff. However, the hotel would benefit from significant upgrades and improved maintenance. As it is located close to Lakeshore Hospital (approximately 4.3 km away), it is also a convenient option for people visiting the hospital for medical treatment.

Excellent place to stay with commendable customer service.

The hotel is not well-maintained. The room floors are in bad shape, with broken tiles all over, and there was a bad smell upon entering the room. No drinking water was provided. It is definitely not worth the money paid for a four-star hotel. Furthermore, the staff is poorly trained. Every time my family and I tried to use the lift, staff members and cleaners were already inside and didn't even bother to step out to make room for us.

The food at the restaurant was so good. The staff were so accommodating and helpful.

Issues faced: 1. Bedsheets and blankets were dirty. 2. Wifi password had to be asked. Had to call the reception. Unless you ask they would not provide it at check in. 3. Had no tv channels. Upon request, a person came and the monthly subscription was taken in front of me - asking me what I wanted to watch. Though the staff was good, these issues point out there is a management issue. The overall experience felt like I had to request for the facilities that was already mentioned in the booking and wait for them to fix it. This seemed like a rip off for the amount. Definitely not a Rs3000/ night stay....
