Fragrant Nature is a very good place to take rest after the visits in the different sites nearby Kochi. The luxury Suite also had a view on the river with spectacular boats. I recommend that hotel

There is a mosque next door or nearby where the 5am call to prayer sounds like it is being made in your room. Would not recommend if you want a relaxing stay. Room is nice and big though.

Fragrant Nature is blissful. More than one could expect in terms of spacious room, cleanliness and service. There is a well maintained pool at the roof top which is brilliant at night!

Enjoyed our stay at Fragrance. Excellent and responsive staff. Well appointed rooms and bathrooms. The restaurant does provide a pretty good fair.

We came for a 1 night staycation to this property to celebrate my birthday. I had informed the hotel in advance about this, but nothing special was done to acknowledge my birthday- this was disappointing because all other hotels always do something special for the customer when intimated about special events. The hotel is beautifully decorated and is extremely comfortable- huge and clean, well appointed rooms, good wifi, a decent breakfast. The location is a bit tricky because there is a lot of road work happening right outside, so getting to and from the hotel is a bit of a hassle right now. The actual property was amazing, would highly recommend basis property alone. There is a lovely view from the rooftop terrace. HOWEVER, the staff were not up to the mark. There was a definite distinction between how they treated us and other guests. The receptionist refused to speak to us in Malayalam which was frankly weird, and continued speaking in English (even though she is a Malayali and spoke to other staff in Malayalam). They did not give us any map or orientation talk when we checked in, though they were doing this for other guests who were waiting next to us. No one offered to carry our luggage, again, very surprising for a luxury hotel. When we came back to the hotel at night, the doorman asked us where we were going. We said we were guests, and he let us in then, but very uncertainly. This was purely a question based on racial profiling. The hotel seems to favour whites and foreigners over Indian, specifically Malayali guests. This is really REALLY disappointing in today's day and age, and frankly very off putting. I realize they may not get any Malayali guests, as staycationing is not a huge concept in Kochi- but they should definitely be treating all guests equally. We are all paying for the same rooms. The property has a lot of similarities to those operated by Casino group (CGH), however, unlike CGH, hospitality does not seem their forte when it comes to local guests- this is probably because the vast majority of their guests are foreigners. We enjoyed our stay but the staff didn't really play a role here.
