Randomly booked this hotel because the other hotel I was looking at didn't have parking. But the stay was pleasant. Pros: Has ample parking in the empty plot opposite to the hotel. Great and helpful staff, specially the night shift guy. The Jacuzzi suite we stayed has little drawing room which can fit an extra bed and sofa. Bedroom is of good size too. Not a con but restaurant and swimming pool are under construction. Cons: Bit on pricier side but the hotel manager assured direct calling to them will get you better deals. Breakfast is okay but taste could be better. The road entrance looks bit shady but once you enter it's fine. Overall nice place to stay and just 3 km away from attractions

We stayed in a Jacuzzi studio. It was comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely polite and accomodating. Property is close to many tourist spots. Only one downpoint is the surrounding area and entrance road towards the property needs development.

It is slightly costly compared to others mainly because of the jacuzzi which was good, but need a own vehicle to reach the place and the swimming was not clean . The food was good including the complimentary breakfast.

The manager was incredibly helpful, assisting us in planning our days and arranging a rental vehicle to explore the area at our own pace. The 24-hour reception desk was always available, responding to any concerns promptly and suggesting great places to visit and eat. The staff were friendly and ensured our stay was smooth and pleasant. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Villa Ecotiva and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pondicherry!

We recently stayed at Villa Ecotiva, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and well maintained. The washroom was spacious, and the jacuzzi was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The private sit-out balcony was also a nice addition. The room had good amenities, including a TV, mini fridge, air conditioning, and the overall ambience of the property was excellent. However, considering the room tariff, I felt the room itself was a bit small. One area that could be improved is the check-in timing. Check-in starts at 2:00 PM, while check-out is at 11:00 AM, which is reasonable. However, many guests arrive early after overnight bus or train journeys, as we did around 10:00 AM. It would be great if the property could consider early check-in whenever rooms are available or provide a waiting lounge for arriving guests. The food was good overall. The starters and pizza were excellent and highly recommended. The biryani, however, didn't meet our expectations—especially for someone from Hyderabad, where we're used to a different style of biryani. The only major issue we experienced was a continuous bug/insect sound in the room during the night, which disturbed our sleep. If this is addressed, the stay would be even more enjoyable. Overall, it's a beautiful property with great ambience, good facilities, and courteous service. With a few improvements, especially regarding room size, early check-in flexibility, and the nighttime noise issue, it can offer an even better guest experience.
