더 포트 포카란 - 어 헤리티지 호텔

It was really cool and unique staying here. It is probably your ONLY option of a quality that is expected for a Western traveller in Pokhran. While I paid extra to stay in a heritage room, it was definitely different than the pictures and it was a bit disappointing but the room still had a unique purpose historically, just be mindful it is not necessarily going to be the EXACT one from the photos, it is truly because they have converted the entire site into a museum, and hotel. The breakfast was lovely, the staff were helpful. I did get yelled at a few times accessing my room as a brown skinned person that looks Indian (they have a bunch of local tourists there for the museum) so certain areas are definitely out of bounds for tourists versus hotel guests but clearly some of the security folks didn't get the memo lol. All in all, a really beautiful place, a lot of history, and an affordable place to stay in if you want that heritage feel but not as luxrious as I might have liked. But for Pokaran, it is the best possible option.

Very well preserved fort converted into hotel. Staying here feels like going back to old times.

We went to pokharan with my family and children included the hotel staff was very well behaved but the problem lied in rooms which were so hot there was no ventilation and the small ac couldn’t make the room cooler at all because of the room sizes and lack of ventilation they charged us 4k for the rooms for one night and we couldn’t even sleep because of this problem at the place where there is 44 degrees temperature. We got really annoyed and they gave us another room but that was also not properly ventilated still better than previous but I would never recommend this property especially during summers. Not at all worth it. Staff is good but facilities zero
