“It is a bit outside of the city itself, but has an awesome view over the river. Staff is very friendly and the property features a breakfast room with a view (and a complimentary wine glass on arrival).”

“Spend the day traveling the old scenic Hwy, all the falls all the trails all the spring flowers, and made my way to the Dalles for a nice overnight here. Room was clean and great TV and Channels. Wifi was free. Bed and pillows great. Towels were nothing special. The dinner was great! A little side salad and piece of toast or a roll would have been perfect! Desk staff was super nice and restaurant team was busy but efficient. Can't beat the view from the deck! Check out was at noon which is enough time to get up and explore town early and maybe find breakfast. I just hit the lobby coffee shop for a home made breakfast Sammi and hot coffee...then headed south to Moppin, Warmsprings and back over Mt Hood. Stopped at White river falls, Frog and Trillium Lake and Timberline lodge. Whst a great weekend trip!!”

“Couldn’t make it all the way after a concert in Portland so stopped here. It was a good value. ”

“This should be the last location you choose. No staff in office at check in. Had to wait for them to take a tv from a rental room to put in the office, then hook it up, so they could watch a game show. Staff unfamiliar with check in process. Had to plug in all the appliances in the room. Tv had to be programmed each time it was turned on. Smoke detector was found in the dresser drawer. If this was the only choice of places to stay, I'd keep driving.”
