“First the positives: the staff was absolutely great, friendly and helpful, no complaints there. The location is pretty darn awesome, turn the corner and your at blues bar on Beale St. The bed was soft and comfortable. The facilities need some love and care. We had a pretty large cracked sink, the toilet flusher needed upkeep. There was no housekeeping or fresh towels. ”

“This Holiday Inn doesn't live up to the Hilton standard. The entire building is falling apart. The fixtures in our room were hanging off the wall ready to fall off at any moment, the doorknob to the bathroom was falling off so we couldn't use the door unless someone else was in the room just in case one of us got trapped inside. Breakfast was grossly overpriced, and dairy items sat on the counter for hours without ice underneath for temperature control. The elevators (2 of 3) were broken down for most of our stay and you couldn't go up unless someone came down from the higher floors. Just overall, this hotel is a Motel 6 in disguise. Don't stay here if you're looking for quality. The location is excellent, though, so if you don't care about any of this stuff then have at it. Definitely recommend avoiding any of the milk products or eating breakfast elsewhere if you're sensitive to food poisoning.”
