“밤에 체크인하고 수영장이 닫히기 전에 바로 갈아입었어요... 수온은 좋았지만 염소 냄새가 정말 강했고 눈에 들어가기 전까지 물에 소금이 들어있다는 안내가 없었어요. 씻으려고 방으로 돌아갔는데 욕조와 벽에 검은 곰팡이가 있는 걸 발견했어요. 변기를 쓰는 것조차 문제였어요... 물을 내릴 때마다 물과 변기 내용물이 좌석과 뚜껑, 바닥을 가로질러 뒤쪽으로 뿜어져 나왔어요. 역겨웠어요. 출입구와 욕실(침대에서 모퉁이 돌면 있는 곳)에 모션 센서 조명이 있는 방에 배정받았는데, 1분 간격으로 밤새도록 불이 계속 켜져 있었어요. 잠을 잘 수가 없었어요. 방 바닥은 다른 사람들의 머리카락과 먼지로 더러웠어요. 와이파이도 전혀 연결되지 않았어요. 건물 전체에서 물을 살 수 있는 자판기가 하나도 없었고, 데스크에서 병이 있냐고 물었더니 그냥 자판기를 사용해 보라고 하더니, 다 떨어졌다고 하니까 어깨를 으쓱했어요. 친구가 아침 식사하러 내려갔는데, 아침 식사는 6시부터 10시까지인데 7시 전에 커피가 다 떨어졌다고 하더군요. 게다가 방에서 사용할 수 있는 유일한 콘센트는 바로 문 옆이었습니다. 역대 최악의 호텔 객실입니다! 절대 추천하지 않습니다.”

“- Staffs are exceptional. - Location is exceptional. - The room is clean But The room’s carpet is very old and very bad smell. I think if we remove the carpet, the hotel will be exceptional. ”

“The La Quinta Inn & Suites guest room (#135) and bathroom were very clean and stocked with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 face clothes. The front desk personal were both friendly and kind. However, the reason for why I rated a 7 for the recommendation to others is because, the breakfast that La Quinta served fell short of being a pleasant way to start the day. The personal who were assigned the duties of the breakfast were not friendly and had a disposition of, "Don't bother me. I'm just here to do my job." This became known on the first day when I asked the attendant manning the dining room area if there were going to be more eggs made as there were none at moment in the pan. The attitude, pulse and vibe I got from her was as previously described; less than friendly. Furthermore, on the 3rd day there were no eggs served because, they had run out. The hash brown potato's were not cooked and/or prepared well at all everyday. They tasted like they were not fully prepared properly and should not have been served to the guest as they tasted very dry and absent of all flavor. Because of this, I would make a cautious recommendation to stay at this hotel leaning on the redeeming factor that the guest rooms and bathroom are more than satisfactory and very-clean. La Quinta by Wyndham can be very proud of that. One other point of note in my evaluation. The free WiFi internet connection and speed was very good. I was able to connect to the WiFi at 5GHz/120-150kbps connection speeds. However, on the 3rd day, the network kept reconnecting me to the 2.4GHz/72kbps side of the router which is more than twice as slow as the 5GHz side of the router. This was most noticeable. Why is that? Why did the router automatically reconnect my connection to an inferior and slower connection speed? I did not initiate that action. So, why did the router make that very unwelcomed change? I noticed this because I have certain utilities that keep me informed about the WiFi connections that I make with this computer. This unexpected reconnection was not appreciated at all as many of my research resources are online and when I open my browser (Brave) there are 8-tabs that will automatically open to those recourses when I start the Brave Browser. So, this is another point that I would raise in any recommendation I would make for others to be aware of. Overall, I gave an 8 evaluation as one of the most impressive features of this hotel is the fact that the room doors have a “breaking” feature to keep the room doors from slamming shut. These breaking-braces were not installed at the Wyndham Hotel at Gettysburg, or the Days Inn at Gettysburg. These are two hotels that I have recently stayed at in the last 6-months. Needless to say this feature is VERY much appreciated and something that I will positively mention to others, as the slamming of guest room doors is a bit of an unpleasant disturbance, especially late at night.”

“The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, someone let their kid into the hot tub with a diaper and the absorbent liner popped but the staff got it cleared out shortly after being notified and had the hot tub ready to use again, hot tub and pool both had excellent temps, fitness room was clean and fully functional, breakfast was really good with many options and REAL eggs (not weird egg pucks). ”

“The hotel was good. There was water damage and peeling wallpaper in our bathroom. The ceiling was leaking. I did notify the front desk. The hotel packs in large groups of children which made our stay less than desirable. They monopolized the pool, hot tub and all the other common areas screaming and running. It wasn’t just the kids the adults were just as bad too. There was little done about it. When the kids finally cleared out of the pool area so other families could potentially enjoy it, it was 10 Pm and the pool was closed down. It makes sense, it was just another frustration. Overall for the value it was great. ”
